Some Russian scientists may have created a paper that tangentially helped skunkworks figure out how to model radar reflections without slapping it on a stick and point a radar at it. Which, we did with the Boeing quiet bird. 2. Congratulations! After having spies on the runway confirming it was coming unescorted, it being alone(no jammers or anti radiation missiles attacking you for getting to greedy), it following the same path(they knew where to look), the Sam battery doing an unauthorised 3rd search(they were only meant to do 2 before getting the hell out of the anti radiation missiles coming), and possibly the bomb bays being open(this one is disputed), they successfully shot down 1/59 first gen stealth aircraft out of a shit ton more sorties. Great job! Did stealth still succeed by massively increasing it’s survivability? Did they still do their jobs? Shhh, we don’t talk about silly “logical” things like that. On a side note, why are Russia can china investing in stealth if it doesn’t work? It’s almost like stealth technology works or something.
